HAIR TRANSPLANT DOCTORS - HLH/HTN

Can anyone please explain to me what is going on with hairlosshelp and hairtransplant network forums with regards to the hair transplants docs??????

What is driving me crazy is they make it sound like there are about 5-6 good hair transplants surgeons out there (shapiro, hasson, wong, feller, cole along with a few others) and the rest are horrible!

What is more bizzare even within their own circle of surgeons some of them recommend 800-1500 fue graft session and other are performing 5000 fue graft mega sessions.

Are these doctors giving deals to their patience to post on those two websites and this is really a gimmick?

I'm really confused since I have a transplant scheduled to occur in the next couple of weeks with a abhrs certified surgeon that I was comfortable with and now as a result of those two websites I'm considering cancelling and flying out to see one of the aforementioned doctors or just saying the heck with it and live with what I have.

Please does "anyone" (including another hair transplant doctor) have some ideas with regards to this as I would greatly appreciate "all" feedback ...

I do know this for a fact...

Money is exchanged between hair transplant doctors and those forums. There really isn't any more to say about it than that. As soon as you start adding the money element to a forum situation with doctors... a funny thing starts to happen, and you're seeing the end result.

My hair transplant doctor was AMAZING (Dr. Marcko in Charlotte, NC, who was at MHR but now is independent), and me and one other person are the only people to ever bring his name up on a forum.

Don't cancel your transplant. The same "powers that be" that have erroneously perpetuated the myth that minox and propecia have an 80% success rate are responsible for making you think that THE HAND OF GOD HIMSELF HAS TOUCHED THOSE FEW, BLESSED SURGEONS. Nothing is further than the truth, my man!

It's your head dude...whatever. It is worth flying out to one of those top docs mentioned.. imho You can in include Rahal too.

If you go to local and get butchered ... I garantee you will travel to the end of the earth to get it repaired.

I made an appointment with the one the htn docs today so I can see what the difference is otherwise I will always be wondering.

hey confused i went to a UK doctor and got terribly butchered, i did my research on www.hairlossexperiences.com as well as the others its a good site too...i was lucky enough to get repaired by the shapiros so be careful dude
