Think spectral is VERY effective...I use it but hate the yellow head. I cannot use near hairline because it is very noticeable. So I use mid to back and use dr lee's on front. Worst comes to worst I'll grow middle n back and need treatment for front

Come on guys..are you serious? Here's a statement from him on August 12 of this year: "I start to use my 210 diodes silicone lazer helmet in March 2009. I was getting massive shed, i've lost half of my hair. I am an unhappy bald now. "

Then the last two pictures...see the dates? A month apart. All the pics are a total of 3 months- as even the title says.. It's no wonder some are so gullible for things like..well I'm not even going to mention names or product names.

Lasers causing shedding..and Spectral...Hmmmm....

All I will say if he did get those results then good for him, who cares what he used. As far as mentioning "gullible", "products" or "names", yeah, let's not. We all jump on bandwagons from time to time when we see others get good results and I am one who will try different things and if they work, then great and if not, oh well. It's all good.

Ah..this is 3 months on Spectral. You'd have to say the "shed" could have been from the initial use of Spectral then.

It doesn't matter WHAT he used. You do not get results like that- your hair cannot even grow like that- in that amount of time. When I first looked at the pics I'm like..Ok..the second one is worse than the first. The others just look like longer hair. Then I see the time-frame.

Before dnc I use azeleic and retinol creams together. Dexpanthenol is very effective to melt sebum so i use it too, and dermaroller two times at week. 1/5 Proscar per a day since 1997 I started to use dnc May 2008 drop in March 2009 to see result of laser. Laser was real nightmare for me as you see. I am very good responder dnc/minoxidil i think. My hands get fuller hair too.

Some pictures from my hair journey.

Kerkanco,

So what do you think the reason for your terrible shed between May and August 2009?

Do you think it is because you have stopped to use Minoxidil or because of the laser? Which laser device did you use? How many diodes? How many minutes you used per session and how many times per week?

Are you still using the laser device now? Do you use only 1/5 Proscar and DNC now? Or other things as well? I have to say that your result is great!!!!

I started to shed after drop dnc.

I had no any benefit from my 210 diodes silicone helmet which i used 15-20 minutes per session and 3 times per week.

I stopped my weird leser toy in July.

I also use retinol, azleic creams, dermaroller and bepanthen amps.

I use 1/5 proscar and never use propecia.

Spectral dnc is clear don't make the scalp any color after wash. I think it is not good for daytime if you have long hair.

I'm wondering if I can get away with using less Spectral (less than 10 sprays) if I deraroll first. I don't wanna dermaroll with the suggested dose in fear of massive absorption, but dermarolling would make it more efficient. Maybe 7 sprays after rolling? Do all the lipsomes eventually migrate through the skin or are there still trailers that never reach the epidermis like most topicals but in a smaller amount?

Kerk,

You said you dermaroll twice a week and was wondering what time of the day and if you applied any topicals afterwards.

And no side effects? thats good. I also thought of dermarolling at night but didn't want to over do it. My stuff will be coming soon and I'll experiment with it. I feel confident as i have all my hair terminal but a few patches of vellus hairs. Did you use the revita shampoo along with your regimen?

Yes i have no side effects from dermarolling but when i apply extra bepanthen serum(contains %25 dexpanthenol) i have. I use the serum, retinol, azleic creams and dnc together and leave on the scalp 20-30 minutes before wash in the morning time; apply creams and leave on the scalp 30 minutes and apply dnc in night time. Revita is part of my regime.

Kerkanco, where did you purchase the new clear Spectral DNC formula? It doesn't seem like you can order directly through their website and was just wondering.

Ok, 990500, same here. I got mine from amazon for 37 with free shipping. Got some DNC from Folica also and also have some Revita coming in the mail. The formula I have barely even leaves any color but comes out of the bottle a little brownish-yellow. If I tanned it would be even less noticeable, but don't think that is needed because it really is faint in color once its rubbed in. Did you have cm long white hairs turn terminal with your journey? It looks like they definitely got longer in your pics but can't tell if your dark hairs simply covered up these hairs due to increased length. I don't have peach fuzz, more like intermediate hairs and even if just a margin of these hairs got a little darker and usable I would deem it a great success. I'm so close to having a productive head of hair. Also, did you notice a shed early on or just a steady climb in quality? thanks for all the info.

I tried rogain about 8 years ago it left my hair really greasy, so i quit but gonna give minoxidil another try I was between spectral dnc, or polaris seems like alot of the same ingredients but just ordered polaris minox because it claims it wont make hair greasy it suppose to absorb better than nanosomes And has 5% apple polys and suppose to work on entire scalp.Ill let you guys know what I think of it once I get it.

Spectral DNC feels great, like a light hairspray, unlike rogaine. Easy to apply and absorbs very well. A cool sensation as I rub it in. It doesn't dry immediately and I actually like the smell. The spray works great with my 3 guard buzz and gonna try the dropper tonight to see if there is a difference. Polaris is said to have .05% apple polyphenols. I have a few months of B-2 applepolys and this can only help. I'm gonna experiment with dermarolling tonight also. I'll report what happens. Good luck to all.

Lava...,

My terminal hairs was getting thinner and thinner after drop dnc. When i start my regime my all white and dark hairs was getting thicker and fuller so dark hairs covered white. Some peach fuzz getting longer and darker in my temple. I was very bad shed (20-30 hairs) as you see in pic. First month of my regime shed too then did not.

Very faint but wears off as it absorbs. The yellowish coloring for me was due to excess serum collecting at the front. Not worth bothering over to me because it fades quickly. At least in my experience so far. I don't wake up with an oily scalp anymore. Even when I applied apple poly in the evenings after rolling I would wake up with some sebum deposits. So far I'm loving Spectral.

Kerkanco; a few more questions Do you use the dropper or the spray that comes with Spectral DNC. If I use the dropper do you know how much 10 sprays would equal? 1ml? Also do you use the .13mm roller that is suggested on lipoxidil's website?
